Job Title: FOH Manager – Poolside Food and Beverage Experience

Location: Freret St. New Orleans, LA

Position Type: Full-time

Job Overview: As a FOH Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee an engaging, efficient, hospitable, clean and organized work environment, contributing to the overall success of the service. The FOH Manager at Sunnies will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the day to day operations of the restaurant with a focus on developing and coordinating events and programs for the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision: Oversee daily operations and ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures.

Training: Assist in training new employees and ongoing development of current staff.

Scheduling: Help create and manage employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.

Quality Control: Ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and cleanliness are maintained.

Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints and ensure they are resolved promptly and satisfactorily.

Budgeting: Assist in creating and managing budgets, including labor and food cost controls.

Inventory: Oversee inventory management and ordering to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimize waste.

Day-to-Day Operations: Help manage restaurant operations during shifts, including opening and closing procedures.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing laws.

Upselling: Encourage staff to upsell and promote menu items effectively.

Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports related to sales, staff performance, and operational efficiency.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of employee performance, inventory, and financial transactions.

Team Leadership: Motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and deliver exceptional service.

Support General Manager: Assist the general manager in strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving.

Standards Adherence: Ensure adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures.

Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance restaurant operations.

Coordination: Assist in planning and executing events or catering orders, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Previous management experience in the hospitality industry, preferably having working Toast POS.

Strong understanding of food, cocktails, event coordinating, and steps of service.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing multiple tasks in a high-energy environment.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with strong communication skills.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
