Cooter Brown's Tavern and Oyster Bar is looking to hire a part time shucker WITH WEEKEND AVAILABILITY. In addition to shucking: efficiently managing orders and prep-work are both required along with a willingness to work with bar staff to maintain a clean environment for guests. This is a customer-facing position so customer service experience is highly valued. The oyster bar is a fast expanding part of Cooter Brown's. The position can be both lucrative and high-volume. The base hourly wage is $12+TIPS. (our tip pool is such that 20% of oyster sales rung on bar tabs go directly to you.)
Cooter Browns is a well established, low-turnover bar/restaurant, and we like to promote from within. It is worth noting that there may be eventual opportunities to move into bar-service positions for the appropriate candidate.
