As “point person” of the team, the Captain takes food, wine and beverage orders and is responsible for creating the station’s rhythm/flow and for knowing the status of all tables at all times. It is the responsibility of the Captain to provide accurate and constant communication of each table’s status to all team members. The Captain is the micro manager of the station and whose main purpose is to provide the guest an enjoyable dining experience. This is done by delivering exceptional service and serving amazing dishes. Extensive knowledge of food, beverages and wine is preferred. Good grooming, the ability to get along well with others and to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
