For Immediate Hire:
Seeking a reliable and well-rounded breakfast cook to assist with prep and dish. Ideally will be cooking on the line 2 days per week and prepping/assisting on high volume days. 2 years of experience cooking eggs is preferred.
Position is full time 5 shifts per week. Hours 5:45am-12:45pm. No nights.
Busy 28-seat cafe plus takeout, with a classic menu of breakfast basic dishes and NOLA specialties, cooked authentically from scratch. Short-order experience is helpful.
We have a tight crew who value cooperation and a respectful workplace. We are looking for someone who is comfortable contributing in a fast paced environment based on working together.
We are open every day of the year, so most weekends and holidays are required.

Cooking to order quickly and consistently.
Attractive plating.
Maintaining a clean, organized line.
Efficient prep and good knife skills.
Handling food safely, with knowledge of proper sanitation.
Cooperating with team members, BOH and FOH
Keeping up with fair share of cleaning and side work.
