Bayona, Chef Susan Spicer's James Beard Award winning gem of French Quarter fine dining, seeks a service bartender for full-time employment.
Job responsibilities include:
Preparing cocktails, wine, beer, and all other beverage orders
Crafting cocktails seasonally in conjunction with lead bartender
Preparing espresso-based drinks
Daily cleaning, restocking, and maintaining of bar area and stockroom
Checking in and stocking beer, liquor, and wine deliveries
Our ideal candidate is someone who is organized, driven, professional, punctual, and enjoys a fast-paced environment, with a solid knowledge of classic cocktails. 2 years experience in a restaurant bar setting preferred.
We are closed on Sundays, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday lunch. We aim to provide a consistent schedule, but flexibility will be required at times.
