Grupo Chamuco’s first hospitality venture, Acamaya, will open soon in the Bywater. Bon Appetite Magazine called Acamaya one of the 9 most anticipated restaurants openings of 2024. Sisters Ana and Lydia Castro aim to serve contemporary Mexican seafood with warm service in a positive space for their staff.
All hourly staff members will be included in our tip-share structure. In addition to certain skill qualifications, ideal candidates will be aligned with our core values and ethos which are heavily reliant on teamwork and respect for one another.
Selected applicants will be invited for an interview within the block of Thursday, May 16th - Wednesday May 22nd.
Acamaya seeks servers who can guide guests’ dining experience with their knowledge of food and beverage. Ideal candidates have a strong background in wine, beer, and spirits (emphasis on agave spirits) as well as some experience in a fast-paced, team-centric environment.
This is a full-time position; candidates must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Candidates must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day, lift up to 40 pounds, and navigate a restaurant while carrying plates and glasses.
Responsible alcohol certification is required & food handling certification welcomed.
Compensation
$7.25 Hourly + tips (Full house pool tip)
