Senior Accountant

Description We are in search of a Senior Accountant to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role is pivotal to our business operations, providing crucial support in financial reporting, dealing with government incentives, and preparing for future audits. As a Senior Accountant, you'll be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including account reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting and use of Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting.Responsibilities: Oversee and perform financial statement audits and reviews Manage reporting related to State of LA and parish incentives Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting Perform account reconciliation and general ledger maintenance Contribute to month-end close activities Conduct audits to ensure financial accuracy Solve problems that arise in the accounting process Prepare for multiple financial statement audits/reviews in the future.Requirements Proven experience in Account Reconciliation Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of accounting experience in public accounting audit or complex industry Proficiency in General Ledger management Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Demonstrated experience in Month End Close procedures Prior experience in Audit processes Proficiency in Financial Reporting.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
