Description We are in search of a proficient HR Director to be a part of our team situated in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will be the go-to person for all employee-related matters. This will involve managing our recruitment process, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and overseeing employee relations and engagement. You will also be responsible for maintaining payroll and compensation & benefits structures.Responsibilities: Develop and implement recruitment strategies in collaboration with leadership to meet staffing requirements for hourly and salaried roles. Efficiently coordinate with external staffing agencies and recruitment partners to expedite the filling of positions. Manage employee relations, acting as the liaison between management and employees to address workplace concerns and conflicts. Oversee investigations into employee grievances, complaints, or misconduct and recommend suitable actions. Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, productivity, and retain top talent. Ensure competitive compensation practices are in line with company policies and monitor market trends to recommend necessary adjustments. Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, retirement plans, and other perks. Ensure accurate capture and review of employee timesheets and profile information for payroll processing. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and other relevant regulations. Extensive knowledge and experience in Employee Relations, adept at resolving conflicts, improving employee satisfaction, and promoting a positive work environment. Skilled in Talent Acquisition, with a strong ability to attract, recruit, and retain top talent. Expertise in Training & Development, capable of identifying training needs and implementing comprehensive employee development programs. Proficiency in managing Compensation & Benefits, designing competitive compensation packages and benefit plans to attract and retain employees. Experience in handling Payroll for a company size ranging from 101 to 500 employees, ensuring accurate salary computation and timely payments.
