Business Analyst

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Business Analyst in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role is integral in improving our company's efficiency and effectiveness across various areas, with a particular emphasis on Human Resources functions. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including formulating HR policies, implementing HR projects, and establishing positive employer-employee relationships. Responsibilities: Formulate and recommend Human Resources policies and objectives for the entire company Take lead on specific HR projects including the transition to PEO, updated HRIS, and new ATS systems Establish and recommend employee relations practices necessary to foster a positive employer-employee relationship and promote high employee morale Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the Human Resources function and ensure the company's compliance Act as the primary contact with labor counsel and outside government agencies Safeguard the interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and governmental laws and regulations Make recommendations to senior management on HR issues and policies Establish wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, employee benefit programs and services, and company safety and health programs Conduct interviews with executive-level candidates Identify and implement HR training programs that address company needs across division lines Requirements Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration, with a focus on managing HR processes and systems Experience in Contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating business agreements Skills in Employee Training, including developing and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and performance Ability to develop and implement HR Strategy, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide business insights Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Familiarity with HR software and technology, with the ability to quickly learn new systems as required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field Professional HR certification (such as PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
