Solidly established for over 30 years, a consulting and forensic and engineering firm is seeking a Land Surveyor, Land Surveyor Intern and Civil and/or Structural Engineer to join our professional staff.
Engineer duties include providing consulting and forensic engineering services to our clients, including but not limited to commercial, private and municipal clients, as well as to insurance companies and others. Engineer candidate will be performing investigation and determination of damage and failure origins and causes. Engineer candidate must be a licensed P.E. or E.I. in Louisiana, or in another state wherein reciprocal licensure can be obtained in Louisiana. Engineer candidate must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Surveyor candidate should possess survey experience required in preliminary, topographic, construction and boundary surveys, using a transit level theodolite, GPS and/or other required state-of-the-art survey instruments; reduce and plot field notes and perform related computations; compile data pertaining to surveys from maps, metes and bounds descriptions or other sources; experience determining and establishing right-of-ways, new site layouts, plats, and establishing property lines. P.E. in Civil or Structural Engineering a plus.
Surveyor Qualifications: Adequate surveying experience.
