Need help assisting me flip Persian rugs while I sell to customers. Writing rug sales up on invoices. Rolling rugs and carrying them to customers' cars.
Job can be physically demanding when the store is busy. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are usually the busiest days and are required. Store is open 10am-7pm Monday through Saturday. Sunday is 12pm-5pm.
You will work one day (Tuesday or Wednesday) by yourself 10am - 7pm. I will train you. There will be other sales people in the store to help you on the day I am off. Job will only last 2-4 months.
I can give you 32-40 hours a week but I can't give you over 40 hours - So no overtime, unfortunately.
During the week, the store is usually slow so you could bring a laptop, phone, etc to stay occupied.
Rugs I sell can range from a few hundred dollars to $25k+. Therefore I ask you to dress presentable for customers. T shirt (nothing profane or political please) or collared shirt and jeans are fine. No facial piercings can be worn while working.
Super laid back environment in a large furniture store. I'm not a very serious person and I try to have fun while working. I'm not expecting you to be a sales person, so no pressure. Just basically babysitting the store on the day I am off and flipping rugs if customers comes in.
