This position is a part-time, independent contract position (1099) for Drew Self Storage/Drew Mini Storage. The facility is located at 1085 Ole Hwy 15, West Monroe, LA 71291 (Google Maps shows 1115 Ole Hwy 15)

Job Description and Process Requirements:
Our rental process and move out process is completely automated. You will very rarely need to be on site to show someone a unit. This is a part-time position that requires you to visit the facility 4-6 times per month, at a time that is convenient to you. The right person for this job treats the facility as if it is their own, and is extremely trustworthy. Site visits should be conducted at least once on or around the 6th of the month and then at least once per week to do general rounds and unit check-ins.
The role of this contractor is to be the eyes and ears and make sure the place is watched over and taken care of. The actual work might take 1-2 hours per week, perhaps more in the first couple months as we get going, but I need you to “own” this facility and watch over it as if it was yours. Duties will include:
- Clean vacant units that require cleaning after tenants move out and make them “rent ready.” The definition of clean is that you would put your own pillow on the ground.
- Perform a “lock audit” / Walkthrough
- Apply Overlock to tenants that have not paid around the 6th of each month.
- Miscellaneous "handy man /woman / fix it" type requirements and general facilities maintenance
This role includes the requirement for basic "handy-man" or "fix it" type scenarios, as well as some, "figure it out" scenarios. Previous experience with rollup doors, replacing latches, or doing general "handy man" type work will be a plus.
This role will use Monday.com, Clickup.com or similar task management software to communicate with central teams and the 3rd party management company. Being comfortable or familiar with task management software apps on your phone is a plus but we will train you. You are required to use your own personal device or phone so you can receive and communicate with task information and notifications.
Pay -
Pay will start out at $300 per month, and will increase with excellent performance. Total approximate hours per month: 10-15
