Job DescriptionAn employer is looking for a Lathe Process Engineer for one of our top Manufacturing clients in the Nation. In this role you will be leading OEE continuous improvement efforts on the CNC Lathes with collaboration from operators, technicians and other engineers in the machine shop. You will be responsible for leading sustaining and new product introduction projects that deliver products and processes of validated consistent quality. There will be an aspect of project management type skills that will be helpful in managing capital equipment procurement projects from ideation through quoting and implementation ensuring the incoming equipment performs as required. The team will look to you to determine priority of multiple project options that give the most value by thorough analysis utilizing lean and six sigma tools. 5+ years of experience in CNC machining process engineering, manufacturing engineering, process engineering or automation experience

Machine Shop experience or metal working experience

Experience with Tsugami (and Nakamuura) lathes.

OEE knowledge and ability to demonstrate how you have used it or implemented it if you have working experience

CNC Lathe programming and troubleshooting

Self-motivated, self-starter ready to solve challenging problems

Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills - Six Sigma Green Belt

Lean Manufacturing methods and tools null
