Receptionist

Description Robert Half is seeking a meticulous Receptionist for our client in Metairie, Louisiana. As a Receptionist, you will be expected to manage customer interactions, maintain showroom aesthetics, and handle data entry tasks. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing purchase orders and contributing to our shipping and receiving operations. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.Responsibilities Greet and assist customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Handle inbound and outbound telephone communication professionally Maintain the showroom's presentation to the highest standards Perform data entry tasks with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Handle multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating strong organizational skills Manage purchase orders, ensuring they are processed accurately and in a timely manner Contribute to the shipping and receiving department by tracking and updating the status of shipments Use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, to carry out administrative tasks Provide proactive, tailored, and timely support to customersRequirements Proficiency in Purchase Orders management Demonstrable experience in Data Entry tasks Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling Familiarity with Order Entry systems and processesRobert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
