DescriptionLocation: On site at Lafayette, LA, Memphis, TN, Metairie, LA, Charlotte, NC and Orlando, FLSummaryThe IT Disaster Recovery Consultant will be responsible for supporting the efforts of the First Horizon Business Resilience department, including crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives. The candidate will primarily be responsible for the development, maintenance, implementation, and testing of IT disaster recovery plans, including on-premise, third-party, and cloud hosted systems. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for business continuity plan updates and disaster recovery administration and will perform duties related to general crisis management support and data reporting for leadership. The candidate must have analytical skills to interpret quantitative and qualitative information to achieve departmental objectives and produce effective solutions for continuous process improvement.This role has a rotating schedule that requires a 7 day work week every 6 weeks. During these 7 consecutive work days, the role will require 24-hour on-call availability.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in the development, maintenance, implementation, and testing of business continuity plans, including business impact analysis and threat risk assessment. Review plans to identify areas of improvement and provide guidance to address issues identified.

Participate in the development, maintenance, implementation, and testing of IT disaster recovery plans, including on-premise, third-party, and cloud hosted systems. Review plans to identify areas of improvement and provide guidance to address issues identified.

Interface with business unit leadership and technology application owners to develop and maintain robust resilience plans, which include contingency planning for loss of people, facilities, technology, and vendor dependencies.

Assist in planning and execution of exercises relating to crisis management, disaster recovery and business continuity.

Coordinate cross-functional projects with stakeholders from Business Resilience, Corporate Security, Information Technology, Human Resources, and other departments. Facilitate timely identification, escalation, and resolution for all outstanding issues.

Develop metrics in support of the Business Resilience program, including reports, dashboards, and scorecards. Responsible for data management, analyzing data, identifying problems, and developing recommendations.

Support the use and maintenance of departmental resources, including weather monitoring and automated notification applications.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additionally, the qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required in this position:

Bachelor’s degree required.

2+ years of business continuity or information technology disaster recovery experience preferred.

Proficiency in MS SharePoint and MS Office applications, specifically Excel.

Strong oral and written communication skills required.

Able to take direction, multi-task, and quickly adapt to shifting priorities.

Exercise latitude in determining functional and technical objectives of an assignment.

May be required to work weekends and/or extended hours. Requires rotating 24/7 on call support.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS (Ex: CPA, Series 6 or 7 license, etc)

Industry certification, such as ABCP or CBCP, considered but not required.

Technology certification, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Technology Associate, considered but not required.
