Post tension construction / foundation firm looking for a part time position in our post tension fabricating and cutting shop located near Breaux Bridge, LA. The fabrication shop is in Breaux Bridge, LA near the Henderson Exit.
We are a state wide post tension foundation construction firm. Our office is located in Lafayette, LA at 106 Oil Center Drive, Suite 105. We are next to Petroleum Club and Chase Bank drive through on Pinhook. Apply in Person only between 9 - 11 and 1 - 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
This is a General Labor Position. We need someone that is dependable and is self motivated to work. Please see some of the job duities below. If you've got what it takes, please apply!
-Under the direct supervision of the shop foreman, the ideal candidate for this position will:
-learn quickly, is punctual, motivated and a self starter
-Assist the shop foreman with the day to day operations of our post tension cable fabrication
-Assist with the cutting and preparing of post tension tendons for installation
-Load/unload trailer-Some heavy lifting required
-Assist with taking inventory
-As directed by foreman, shop maintenance, grass cutting
-Equipment maintenance and repair
REQUIREMENTS:
-Responsible, must have excellent attendence
-2 years of verifiable work history
-Read and understand work orders, instructions
-Able to lift up to 50-100 lbs.-Physical demand requirements are in excess of those only suited for light work.
-Great customer service skills and work ethic
-Have some knowledge of basic tools and machinery
-Welding and or electrical skills a plus but not limited to
-Forklift certification a plus
-Able to drive a truck with trailer (bumper pull & gooseneck) a plus
-Training in OSHA safety a plus

PAY RATE: Based on experience
