Job Title: Wiring TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Wiring Technician, your primary role will be to wire the inside of custom designed switchboards and switchgear. You will first assemble the mechanical frame of the 90-inch tall switchboards using hand and power tools. Once the frame is built, you will handle the internal wiring of each unit's columns. Although the initial assembly is conducted at a standing bench at waist level, you will need to bend, squat, and sit to wire the 'guts' of the switchboard. Using a blueprint of the outer frame and a schematic for the internal wiring, you will determine what wires and parts are needed to complete the job. Once the wiring is done, you will use small testing equipment to ensure the wiring components function properly. After your manager verifies your work, you will move on to the next job.Hard Skills
