What You'll Be DoingJob Scope: Generally responsible for project administration including overall planning, tracking and documentation of one or several projects from the project proposal phase to the project closeout phase. Projects are typically outlined with specific guidelines and procedures. This position is also responsible for overall department support, including but not limited to the leader and project managers for the specific discipline assigned to. This work will be performed under general supervision.Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Create Purchase Requisitions, order raw materials, approve invoices, track waste invoices, maintain files per record retention requirements.

Create monthly safety and environmental books for records, file daily reading sheets.

Keep personnel lists and email groups up to date.

Maintain supplies for the TDI Administration Building and TDI Control Room, do monthly safety checklist for TDI Admin, coordinate building repairs, and ensure housekeeping is maintained.

Organize and support the timely preparation for internal and external meetings, including gathering documents, key inputs and handling the logistics for meetings.

Determine priority of matters for the attention of the TDI Manager, redirect matters to staff to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate.

Keep TDI Manager advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.

Serve as a liaison for TDI visitors to facilitate their arrival on site (GSART) and communication with TDI personnel.

Work on special projects, as needed.

Miscellaneous administrative tasks as required.

Ideal BackgroundEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Advanced coursework is highly preferred.Certification: No certification is required for this position.Experience : This position requires up to 4 years of experience in providing administrative support, preferably in an industrial engineering environment

Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Motivated individual with highly developed organizational, interpersonal, and follow up skills.

Orientation to work in a team environment, and effectively prioritize tasks to produce results with minimal supervision.

The ability to interface effortlessly with management and demonstrate impeccable handling of confidential and sensitive information

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
