Accounting Clerk D

Purpose of Position:The Production/Live Operations Clerk assists Accountants and Managers with clerical duties within the facility.  Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Assist in clerical management of production accuracy within fresh and cook plant, contracts and bank assignments, compile and record flock data, ensuring accurate farm inventory, completing flock transfers within MTECH system, compile vaccine charge outs, prepare weekly settlements, maintain confidential files and records, cross train with other department positions. Team Members may be required to perform other related duties as assigned, to ensure workload coverage.Essential Job Functions:Reconcile fresh and cook plant production, as well as, reporting daily yields.Reconcile breeder flock data including egg production, egg inventory, feed usage, feed inventory, flock expenses, bird inventories/mortality, and grower pay.Assist manager in the reconciliation process of balance sheet accounts.      Analyze spreadsheets/data pertaining to breeder performance.                Back-up for other accounting clerks, and gain knowledge of other areas of finance.Additional Functions:Special Projects as assigned.
