DescriptionGeneral Purpose of the JobResponsible for daily general and routine tubular materials movement instructions and tubular selections.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate receiving materials through customer and vendors correspondence; receives, checks-in and inspects all incoming tubular equipment
Determine equipment locations for returned materials
Inform Yard Manager and affected personnel of daily events
Ensure adequate equipment delivery and quality; return any incorrect orders and delivery to correct vendor
Generate rental return, tubular movement, and sorting of equipment tickets as necessary
Communicate with operations and inspection personnel regarding equipment location and status
Provide transportation personnel direction regarding items for shipping and receiving
Notify supervisor and QA personnel on status of items requiring quarantine and/or management review
Set and label racks for yard layout
Direct Forklift drivers as necessary to maintain yard organization
Use of Forklift to maneuver Assets & Load / Unload Trucks.
Investigate and account for inventory location variance
Know and understand WSI Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems & Procedures Manuals while also complying with all HSE requirements.
Technical and Behavioral AbilitiesAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to use basic math skills. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Prior knowledge in oilfield rental business preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to compile basic reports of job lists for customer orders.Written and verbal communication skills. Supervisory skills preferred.
