Job Summary:
-Responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in new construction residential homes following manufacturer specifications, industry codes and standards, and company requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
-Installation of ductwork in residential new construction homes.
-Installation of HVAC equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, and bath fans in new residential construction homes.
-Maintain quality standards on all installations and tasks.
-Always maintain safety standards.
-Prepare operational reports.
-Update job-related knowledge or skills.
-Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.
-Must be willing to operate a company vehicle.
-All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
-Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
-A Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
-Skilled in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, and safe installation of new and replacement parts.
-Must be self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.
-Must possess hand tools and power tools to execute job duties.
-Must complete tasks, as assigned, within the company’s standard timeframe.
-Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
-Physical dexterity.
Education and Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent required.
-1 year of experience installing duct or equipment without assistance in residential homes.
Physical Requirements:
-Must be able to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs. at times.
