DETAIL: The selected employee may be required to serve a trial detail prior to being permanently promoted.

PROBATIONAL APPOINTMENT: Current permanent status classified State employees may be required to accept a probational appointment, if selected.

TEMPORARY JOB APPOINTMENT: This position may be filled by temporary job appointment. If filled as a temporary job appointment, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.

This position is an outside sales position located within the Prison Enterprises Marketing section. The sales territory will cover a wide area including Prison Enterprise's Southeast Region; travel is required. The position is responsible for marketing and sales of a wide array of products and services provided by Prison Enterprises to a specific customer base.Candidates must possess the following abilities:

Ability to network, build relationships with clients, and educate clients on the benefits of purchasing our products.

Maintain a strong relationship with existing customers while striving to consistently add new customers.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a genuine interest in people.

Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about out products.
