DescriptionRobert Half Management Resources has an immediate need for a Finance Manager to join one of our top clients in the Baton Rouge, LA area. In this position, you will report to the CFO and will assist in the development of Financial Operations strategies. In addition to the strategic components, the Finance Manager will be charged with developing and implementing policies and procedures in both finance and general operations areas.Qualifications & Responsibilities: Bachelors degree in accounting/finance is required. MBA and/or CPA is preferred 15+ years of progressive accounting experience and at least 8 years at a management level Ability to handle all accounting and tax oversight with a high degree of customer service and communications with internal and external customers Providing strategic management of the accounting and finance functions Directing accounting policies, procedures and internal controls Recommending improvements to ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information Managing or overseeing the relationship with independent auditors Collaborating with chief information officers on technology decisions Overseeing financial systems implementations and upgrades Managing relationships with investors and investment institutions Identifying and managing business risks and insurance requirements Merger and Acquisition experience preferred ERP system implementation experience preferred (NetSuite)For more information on this unique career position offered exclusively through Robert Half Management Resources, please send your resume to Chase Forestier.Robert Half Management Resources is the world's premier provider of senior-level accounting and finance professionals on a project and interim basis.
