Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Financial Services industry based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for a Cyber Security Engineer. The role involves securing our systems against threats, identifying vulnerabilities and putting robust security measures in place. You'll also be required to conduct penetration testing, monitor network activities for suspicious behavior, and respond swiftly to security incidents.Responsibilities: Analyze systems to identify vulnerabilities and implement robust security measures. Conduct penetration tests to evaluate the security level of our information system. Monitor networks for suspicious activities, and swiftly respond to security incidents. Collaborate with the IT team to enhance security protocols and ensure compliance with regulations. Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies and advise on best practices for risk mitigation. Utilize strong analytical skills and attention to detail in daily tasks. Proficiently use security tools to ensure the protection of sensitive information. Maintain operational integrity by identifying weaknesses and implementing proactive security measures. Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Cyber Security. Proficiency in Cyber Security Engineering is a mandatory requirement for this role. Familiarity with Cyber Security Policies is essential. Applicant must have a comprehensive understanding of Cyber Security Standards. Capability to develop and implement Cyber Security Strategies is a crucial requirement. Experience in the Financial Services industry is highly desirable. Applicant must have a strong commitment to staying current with industry trends and advancements. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary. Applicants must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to operate independently when necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
