Description We have an opening for an Administrative Assistant with our client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, providing vital support through tasks such as answering inbound calls, data entry, and email correspondence. You will also be required to deliver excellent customer service and manage scheduling appointments. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Efficiently answer inbound calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly Execute data entry tasks with accuracy, ensuring all customer information is up-to-date and correct Handle email correspondence professionally, replying to emails in a timely manner Schedule appointments and manage calendars, ensuring all appointments are accurately recorded and any changes are communicated promptly Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word to perform various tasks Operate QuickBooks for various financial tasks Assist with benefits and payroll tasks when necessary Maintain a high level of organization in all aspects of your role Take on additional administrative tasks as required by the teamRequirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word Experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail Effective communication skills for email correspondence and scheduling appointments Working knowledge of QuickBooks software Familiarity with benefits payroll systems Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team High level of discretion and judgment in handling confidential information Previous experience in an administrative role is preferredRobert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
