Description Robert Half has an exceptional opportunity for a permanent Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join the team at a recognized company in the Manufacturing industry. As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will match, batch, and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. Within this dynamic department, you will have an opportunity for career growth and advancement. Major responsibilities
Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
Complete special projects on an as-needed basis
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Manage full-cycle A/P
Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks
Provide internal and external audit assistance as required
Requirements
1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Strong organization skills
Strong knowledge of Outlook, must be able to navigate email boxes
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
Proven knowledge of account reconciliation
Foundational knowledge in Credit card transaction processing
Check Runs experience preferred
