Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Maintains sterile technique.Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.Passes instruments to and assist physician during surgical and invasive procedures. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.Assists in obtaining and properly labeling specimen.Follows Infection Control and Safety GuidelinesObtain and prepare supply items for daily cases.Performs Central Sterile duties and schedules patients through EMR as needed.Job RequirementsMinimum EducationX High school diploma or equivalent X Required
X Graduate of a Program in Discipline X RequiredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
