Responsible for developing, conducting and evaluating in-service programs, orientation and continuing education for nurses, and other staff in all clinical areas throughout the hospital. Develops educational policies and procedures. Serves as a resource person to staff and management. Current Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky OR a Current Registered Nurse Licensure with a multistate compact status.Minimum EducationBachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's Degree in Nursing preferredMinimum Work ExperienceCurrent clinical experience.A minimum of three years experience as a Clinical Educator preferredRequired SkillsCertifications:Required certifications must be obtained through a LCRH approved program: Certification as an instructor with the American Heart Association in BLS, PALS, and/or ACLS preferred.
