Seating is at the center of the consumer vehicle experience and our seating solutions are developed from consumer research, prioritizing comfort, convenience and connectivity.About the RoleDirect accountability for fixtures, equipment evaluation, hand tools, and time studies as required for the manufacture of assemblies and end products of the current or future programs. Assist EHS Coordinator with ergonomic programs and assist with the plant Health and Safety initiatives.Your Responsibilities

Provide engineering assistance for the design and manufacture of seat assemblies, including ergonomics and safety standards

Prepare Failure Mode Affects Analysis Reports and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations

Follow up on issue resolution and recommend modifications to maintain compliance with laws

Participate in accident and injury investigations, and assist in the development of safety programs

Examine plans and specifications for new machinery to ensure safety precautions are included

Administer and ensure compliance with Quality, Environmental, and Material Management Systems

Your preferred qualificationsUndergraduate degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience. A high level of analytical ability is required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
