Read changeover board in order to obtain information to efficiently changeover the dies to the new job at the specified start time
Escalate all issues to supervisor
Run the new part through each die, check for quality
Release the station back to production by notifying the team lead of the successful changeover
Follow all policies regarding Lock Out and safety procedures
Operate presses in order to remove dies (remove WIP stands, guards, and conveyers when necessary)
Use forklift to successfully and carefully remove die from press
Repair bad threaded holes and replace damaged bolts when needed
Place new dies into machine by using a forklift and necessary hand tools / equipment
Ensure die is placed in the correct location
Operate press and bolt in the recently installed die. Torque bolts to specifications
Ensure that metal and secondary changes have been made
Check to verify that all guards are placed back onto the machine. Verify proper die height
Operate all presses and run a complete cycle
Verify part quality while having high attention to detail and adhering to all safety procedures
