Job DescriptionThe Production Manager in our RTE manufacturing plant is responsible for all employees in the production department, daily supervision and directing of the production lines under his/her supervision. This position is responsible for ensuring that company standards are achieved and maintained with an emphasis on continuous improvement, providing support, structure and training for employees within the department. The Production Manager will be required to be a hands-on, self-starter with the ability to motivate and lead staff. 1st and 2nd shift.Qualifications- 7 or more years of experience in the food manufacturing industry
- 5 or more years of leadership experience in the manufacturing industry, including scheduling, managing employee performance and directing employee’s day-to-day activities
- Experience with Tray Sealer/Thermoforming/Flow wrapping
- Knowledge of food manufacturing processes, including, but not limited to HACCP, SOPs, SSOPs, company policies, as well as demonstrated communication skills
- Strict adherence to all safety, food safety and GMP protocols
- Commitment to meeting and exceeding quality standards and customer specifications
- Oversee the organization of, cleanliness, and general order of lines and production areas
- Effectively and proactively communicate status related to safety, quality, personnel, equipment, and/or inventory to appropriate management
- Lead a team of skilled workers to meet hourly and daily production standards and goals
- Ability to quickly solve problems through critical thinking
- Willingness to follow all established guidelines and procedures and recommend improvements as needed
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
