Kelly has a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Controller with an Industrial Contractor at their new base of operations in Owensboro, KY . This is a Direct Hire position with a starting salary of $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience, a comprehensive benefits package, and a yearly bonus structure. In this role you will hold primary responsibility for financial management including accounting, financial analysis, and project management. Our great partner needs someone familiar with both working in a blue-collar environment and Project based accounting. Ability to communicate to the leadership team is a key factor, and the desire to build and improve upon current systems is critical for success.Responsibilities include but not limited to: Provide timely, accurate, and reliable monthly reporting to management including financial results, variance analysis, and forecasts Maintain and develop/enhance month-end reporting files, coordination of monthly financial deliverables, and management operating reviews Financial Management and oversight of multiple ongoing projects Oversight of payroll and payroll related tax processing and expense reimbursement Oversight of accounting for purchases, material receipts, and management of accounts payable Manage daily cash activity, update cash forecasting based on expected receipts and payments, and revenue forecasting Manage collections and cash application upon receipt of payment from customers Manage operational administrative personnel by allocating tasks to maximize controls to the best possible extent Provide relevant information to third party tax advisors for required tax provision, estimated payments, and filingsSkills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related program required; Masters’ degree and/or CPA preferred Experience working with a cross functional team to deliver high quality results with tight turnaround times and hard deadlines while partnering with non-financial management Strong financial, managerial, and analytical skills and a developed technical (US GAAP) accounting knowledge Construction contractor and/or percentage of completion accounting experience preferred Excellent systems skills including ERP, databases, and advanced Excel skills required Sage and/or TimberScan experience is a big plus Ability and confidence to interact with all levels of personnel across the CompanyApply today or contact Mark Tower with your resume at [email protected] for consideration.
