DIRECTOR HUMAN RESOURCESJOB #IRC8733LOCATION - OWENSBORO, KYThe Director Human Resources is responsible for the oversight of all human resource functions including recruitment, hiring, policy administration, employee and labor relations. Serves as the internal consultant to senior management on people issues. Helps shape human resources philosophy, policy and practice. Plans, develops, and manages labor relations activities for multiple unions. Provides appropriate communications within the organization to promote employee understanding of company programs, policies, and objectives along with leadership and oversight for day-to-day management of best practices human resources.This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, HR Management or a closely related field of study. Certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) along with a Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification is a plus. Qualified candidates will also need to have a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in managing teams with a strong preference for experience in a heavy industrialized company. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and have the ability to present information to all levels in the organization.
