Description For more information contact Stacey Bowman at 859-788-3661We are offering an engaging role for a Controller in the industry located in south Lexington. The Controller will play a crucial role in managing and providing financial information and support to various stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including financial analysis, accounting tasks, and management support.Responsibilities: Analyze and manage the financial information and provide supportive data to various stakeholders Implement and enforce internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures Conduct financial analyses to monitor costs and financial positions in key areas Participate actively in plant operations through internal meetings and staff interaction Prepare and lead discussions for all financial portions of plant quarterly review meetings Review and monitor plant inventory to identify and resolve potential financial exposure or process issues Assist in the preparation and review of plant budgets or forecasts Oversee the preparation and submission of plant capital spending projects for management review and approval Develop and drive plant profitability improvement programs Ensure relevant accounting guidelines and policies are consistently applied Conduct daily, weekly, and month-end activities to ensure a complete, accurate, and timely close process Prepare and review assigned balance sheet account reconciliations, including required supporting documentationRequirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems Experience with Crystal Reports Familiarity with all Accounting Functions Prior experience handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proven experience in Auditing Understanding of Budget Processes Proficiency in SAP Experience in Cost Accounting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
