Our distribution business is experiencing transformative growth—with no end in sight. That’s why we’re looking for a 1st Shift Order Fulfillment Supervisor for our Midway, KY distribution center. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day order fulfillment operations within our fully automated conveyor system. Responsibilities include meeting order processing SLA’s staffing, training, safety, continuous improvements, and loss prevention. In addition, you will ensure excellent service levels to both internal and external customers. This role will report to our Order Fulfillment Sr Manager. And we’re here to help you succeed—in 2022 Lakeshore earned its Great Place to Work® Certification™ and is proud to put its associates first. A day in the office looks like this: Planning and monitoring daily labor needs based on immediate and forecasted order and unit volumes Creating and implementing standards and metrics for the team  Understanding the goals for the day and providing motivation to ensure they are met accurately and efficiently, while also encouraging teamwork and obtaining a high level of associate morale and recognition Ensuring our order fulfillment requirements are met on a daily basis. Working with the leadership team to effectively communicate achievements and challenges throughout the day Complying with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling and receiving requirements, and enforcing safety policies and techniques  Ensuring the organization and physical appearance of the Order Processing Department are in good standing order  Developing employee performance by appraising, coaching and counseling Developing ongoing process improvements for all order processing associates to ensure efficient operations
