We offer products and services which extend along the entire Rail Electrification value chain to improve the quality of everyday life for millions of people worldwide.Position Overview:The Manufacturing Engineering Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the maintenance, tooling, and Manufacturing engineering departments, facilitating efficient manufacturing operations across the organization.Supervisory Responsibilities:

Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.

Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

Provides constructive and timely job-related feedback.

Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Collaborates with other manufacturing managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.

Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; makes and implements recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Supervises tooling operations, ensuring all work is performed accurately and according to quality and safety standards.

Provides guidance and oversight in development and execution of plant renovations and expansion.

Assists the Maintenance Supervisor and/or other appropriate leadership with programs, activities, and responsibilities of the maintenance department.

Work closely with research and development to ensures the quality of product meets all specifications as well as revving all ECO’s for proper integration to the value streams.

Ensure proper risk analysis (PFEMA) are preformed in each value stream to mitigate any risk of bad product or downtime.

Participate in NPI design reviews - providing input on manufacturing (DFM) and testing (DFT) of new products.

Performs other duties as assigned.To thrive in this role, you have:

Thorough understanding of plant engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software such as CAD Software, Lean Kit, SAP. Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in industrial management, or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering field, required.

The base salary range for this position in Marion, Kentucky is $107,500 – $145,000 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary . The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
