Job description
Looking for a positive self starter to work as a dispatcher managing automotive freight. This position requires a responsible person with good follow through and an ability to multitask in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment. A good candidate has solid telephone skills, an ability to learn our transportation management system and has strong communication skills.
- Live updating shipment milestones at pick up and delivery.
- Tracking drivers along their route to ensure on time performance.
- Communicating issues with customers and other dispatchers.
- Monitor emails to ensure we are assisting customers in a timely manner.
- Resolving daily issues that occur with drivers and load add/cancelations.
