Position Details:
The Property Manager is fully responsible for all day to day operations, oversight, and enhancement of the value of the property: 3 apartment buildings with a total of 21 units. Primary responsibilities include: tenant relations, generating satisfactory cash flow, marketing, maintaining property in accordance with standards and requirements, and resident satisfaction. Must be self-motivated, have a keen eye for detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will:
- Manage the daily operations of the property: including taking and reviewing maintenance requests, scheduling maintenance work, exercising due diligence in investigating tenant complaints, collecting rents and issuing late fees, and enforcing standards as detailed in the tenant lease agreements.
- Assist in lease ups/turns of units, and tenant screening, as well as tenant evictions. Maintain a high level of occupancy for the property.
- Maintain accurate documentation in a pre-established online portal, and have weekly conference calls with the property owner (as needed).
- Assist with other tasks pertaining to the property as assigned by the property owner.
The ideal candidate should be:
- At least 21 years of age or older with valid driver's license.
- Possess strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated and time efficient.
- Have at least 1 year of property management experience, and/or sufficient knowledge of state requirements pertaining to property management.
