Warehouse Associate Position
Location: Louisville, Kentucky
Compensation: Starting hourly pay of $17.75.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm (30-minute unpaid lunch).
Total of 8 hours per day/40 hours per week from January to October.
Availability for overtime and weekends in November and December or as business requires.
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of general warehouse experience. If you possess forklift certification and/or have worked with an RF scan gun in the past, that's a significant bonus! This is a dynamic role with a starting hourly pay of $17.75.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general warehouse duties, including but not limited to, picking, packing, and shipping orders.
Operate a forklift if certified, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials.
Utilize RF scan guns for accurate inventory tracking.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Benefits:
Eligible for benefits on the first of the month following the hire date (refer to Benefit eGuide).
Vacation: 2 weeks per year, accrued per pay period (3.08 hours per pay).
Sick Time: 5 days per calendar year, effective after 90 days of employment.
Holidays: 10 days per year, effective immediately with no waiting period.
Additional Incentives:
Discretionary Bonus: 10% of base salary, subject to a 6-month fiscal year waiting period.
401k Program: While we currently do not offer a match, our 401k program provides an opportunity for long-term financial planning.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of general warehouse experience.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Experience with RF scan guns is an advantage.
