Physician Billing Services is currently recruiting for the following positions:
Claims Rejections Specialist Role:
Pay $17.00 per hour based on experience.
Mon-Thursday hours 9:00a-4:00p.
This position has the possibility to move to full-time by end of August
No weekends
Reviews denied claims to ensure coding was appropriate and make corrections as needed.
Ensures billing and coding are correct prior to sending appeals or reconsiderations to payers.
Investigate claims with no payer response to ensure claim was received by payer
Strong understanding of payer websites and appeal process by all payers including commercial and government payers
including VA, Tricare, Medicare, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage plans
Reviews and finds trends or patterns of denials to prevent errors
Assists and confers with coder and billing manager concerning any coding problems.
Stays current with compliance and changing regulatory guideline.
Demonstrates knowledge of coding and medical terminology in order to effectively know if claim denied appropriately and if appeal is warranted.
Data Entry Clerks (2 positions) $14.00 entry level position. no experience required, must be mature, work with minimal supervision, reliable and attention to detail.
Both positions are office based.
Hours are Monday-Thursday 9a-4pm
No Holidays or Weekends
