Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Analyst/Assistant Treasurer, based in Louisville, Kentucky. This role is primarily focused on maintaining the company's bank accounts and closely collaborating with various banks to ensure systems and processes are set up and operating correctly. The successful candidate will be involved in cash positioning, forecasting, and reconciliation, with an emphasis on banking operations, MS Great Plains Accounting, Microsoft Excel, and treasury activities.Responsibilities: Identifying and participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience, workflow, or work environment. Managing all company bank accounts meticulously. Collaborating effectively with various banks to assure systems and processes are set up and functioning properly. Monitoring daily cash position and balancing master accounts for all receipts and disbursements. Initiating wires or transfers from the correct accounts as needed. Preparing cash forecasts routinely and whenever requested. Working closely with all departments to accurately reflect projections to the cash forecast. Preparing monthly master accounts cash reconciliation for accounting and preparing general ledger journal entries. Monitoring the monthly outstanding check reports and working closely with Accounts Payable and Accounting to keep current. Preparing accurate and timely Accounts Receivable borrowing base calculations for all revolving lines of credit. Maintaining and updating written procedures on Daily Cash Reporting and Borrowing Base Reporting. Undertaking other special projects and duties as assigned. Requirements Possess at least 1+ years of experience as a Treasury Analyst or similar role Demonstrable knowledge of Banking Operations Proficiency in using MS Great Plains Accounting software Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Treasury Activities such as cash management, risk management, and financial planning Experience with Bank Account Reconciliation Ability to conduct Cash Forecasting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred Certification such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is a plus.
