Effectively work and communicate with a team to continuously improve quality, safety, efficiency, and productivityOversee production lines, review downtime causes and be actively involved in issues on the floor by assisting in troubleshooting and problem solvingUpdate Daily Management board and provide corrective action steps to concerns onlineSchedule production for the department and meet production requirementsCoordinate requirements and schedules with other departmentsMentor, coach and counsel production employeesSupervise up to 30+ production hourly employeesReview, adjust and approve timesheets daily for direct employeesAdjust work force based on workloadTroubleshoot and solve production problemsEvaluate and improve production efficiencyFollow company policy and procedures (safety, quality, productivity, discipline, order, human resources, and continuous improvement)Drive & Implement improvement & Lean initiativesAdditional Duties:Some extended hours & weekends as necessarySupport additional lines as needed if other supervisor is off workOther duties as assigned
