Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Louisville, Kentucky. The selected candidate will be required to handle a variety of tasks related to account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations in the finance industry. You will be a key player in our team, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial records and processes.Responsibilities: Efficiently reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy Regularly perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial integrity Conduct bank reconciliations to monitor and adjust any discrepancies Maintain general ledger to ensure all financial data is up to date Prepare and post journal entries to record financial transactions Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting Take part in month-end close processes to finalize financial records Use NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations is essential Working knowledge of General Ledger is necessary Experience in managing Journal Entries is needed Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must Familiarity with Month End Close processes is crucial Hands-on experience with NetSuite software is desirable Proficiency in Oracle software is beneficial Knowledge of SAP system is advantageous Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
