Description:GENERAL RESPONISIBILITIES: Plan, schedule and maintain machine orders for multiple assembly lines and/or sub-assemblies as determined by a monthly SIOP process. Monitor and evaluate production plan daily and make necessary adjustments by taking into consideration customer demand and customer priorities, labor and material constraints, in order to provide optimal production plan to shop floor Create and release production orders to shop floor and provide necessary accompanying documents Escalate customer and sales requests that fall outside the agreed upon SIOP parameters Support and align with internal and external customers Work with supply chain team to ensure communication on changes to the build plan. Balance all demand inputs to drive efficiency through manufacturing for the customer Manage supply base aspect of planning in order to ensure optimal supply in cases of vertical planning (production and supply planning) Manage product introductions / balance out and ensure timely system set ups as it relates to ECM/PCM processSkills:production planning, erp system, erp, supply chain processes, excel, Sap, Mrp, supply chain, planning, scheduling, inventory controlTop Skills Details:production planning,erp system,erp,supply chain processes,excelAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Must Have's:ERP systems, SAP is preferred3+ years production planning experienceManufacturing experience Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics, engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Thorough knowledge of production, supply chain, inventory, and planning principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures, sales order to revenue realization process, and integrated enterprise resource management systems preferred. Experience working with manufacturing-based technology, processes and principles, including Lean manufacturing and project management practices, and understanding of influences on costs, gross margin, quality, and delivery preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an enterprise resource planning (ERP)/material resource planning system (MRP), SAP preferred. Strong in MRP Knowledge and Production Planning and/or Material Control experience. A good understanding of Production/Assembly/Materials Control/Marketing/Customer Service, and Engineering and how they interface with one another. Knowledge of production orders, sales orders.
