Housing and relocation assistance are not available.Assignments may include:Provide administrative support for probationary employee attendanceResearch and investigate attendance disputes, updating employee time and attendance recordsGenerate discussion forms and warning noticesConduct employee discussions and create documents for legal reviewSupport projects related to driving improved retention and increased plant engagementAssist in managing both electronic and hard copy HR documents, files, and recordsProvide support in other HR special projects, tasks, needs, and initiativesWhat You'll Bring to Our TeamPursing Bachelors or better in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fieldCandidate must be actively enrolled and be in good academic standing in an accredited school or university pursuing a degree in one of the above majorsCumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.0Able to work up to 40 hrs per week Monday - Friday during typical business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMDesired QualificationsPrior intern, co-op, or research experienceStrong analytical and technical skillsDemonstrated problem-solving abilitiesLeadership experience inside and/or outside the classroomWell-developed written and verbal communication skillsGeneral business/finance understandingReliable transportation to and from work daily is requiredUnrestricted authorization to work in the United States now and in the future: GE Appliances will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.Our CultureAt GE Appliances, creativity meets passion and conversations lead to exceptional outcomes and experiences.
