Field Support Technician - US Based

Position Overview: The Technology Service Delivery (TSD) Field Technician at Anywhere Real Estate Inc. will provide comprehensive desktop support for all company-owned computer equipment and offer technical assistance to branch staff and Independent Sales Associates. This role involves addressing technical requests both onsite and remotely using company-provided tools. The TSD Field Technician will foster positive professional relationships with Independent Sales Associates, office managers, and office administrators while promoting company programs and affiliated services.Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software using current standard business packages.

Assemble and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure, and peripherals such as printers and scanners.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including email, network, and peripheral equipment; perform necessary repairs and corrections.

Serve as a technical resource to assist users in resolving equipment problems; implement solutions or notify outsource providers as needed.

Recommend hardware and software acquisitions, helping users assess needs and providing justification for equipment and services.

Assist Network Engineers from the Realogy Network Operation Center in debugging network issues.

Maintain support request tickets in ServiceNow, accurately documenting instances of hardware failure, repair, and software/hardware installation.

Actively update, maintain, and validate Hardware Asset Management inventory within ServiceNow.

Maintain effective communication with users and staff.

Assist and back up other Technology Service Delivery Field Support Technicians with tickets.

Attend and actively participate in team meetings, providing clear, professional feedback and potential solutions to current problems.

Be prepared and punctual for projects such as Circuit Cutover, Circuit testing, Office Setup, Move, Closure, and Relocation.

Required Qualifications:

Extensive hands-on experience with Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and MacOS.

Experience with Ivanti LANDesk, McAfee Enterprise Edition, and McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator.

Proficiency in configuring wireless mobile/handheld devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Android devices.

Experience in virus and spyware detection and removal.

Familiarity with Windows Deployment Toolkit for Imaging.

Completion of two years of college-level coursework in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and two years of general computer installation, maintenance, and repair experience in a support environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

High level of initiative and dedication, with the ability to work well under pressure.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain a high degree of flexibility.

Effective time management skills.

Outstanding customer service and interaction skills, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to take full ownership and responsibility for problems, both individually and as part of a team.

Consistent follow-up until problems are resolved or projects are completed.

Ability to manage expectations by keeping customers informed regarding status and timing.

Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.

Physical ability to lift computer equipment and printers.

Valid California class C driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
