the highest confidentiality standards, and continuously improving operational efficiency.Position Overview :We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Oligonucleotide Manufacturing to

oversee the day-to-day operations of our oligonucleotide synthesis facility in Louisville, KY.

This position reports to the Business Unit Manager of Eurofins Genomics and will lead a team of

40–50 employees in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will

have deep experience in manufacturing operations, process optimization, and automation, along

with a solid background in organic chemistry.Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee daily oligonucleotide manufacturing operations to ensure optimal performance, quality, and efficiencyDrive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects, to enhance productivity and reduce operational waste Plan, design, and implement automation and equipment upgrades to streamline production and increase throughput.Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Maintenance, IT, and R&D teams to support new product introduction and process enhancementsDevelop and implement robust process controls, performance metrics, and documentation systems to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.Analyze equipment performance and manufacturing data to identify areas for improvement and corrective action.Build and lead a high-performing team, ensuring appropriate staffing, training, development, and performance management.Define clear departmental goals and KPIs aligned with business objectives; monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including GMP standards where necessary.
