Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the gambling industry, located in Louisville, Kentucky. The role entails overseeing the accounts payable operations within the company, ensuring all financial transactions are processed efficiently and accurately, and handling any related inquiries or issues. Responsibilities will include: Processing and reconciling account payable transactions in a timely manner Managing the check runs and coding invoices accurately Conducting account reconciliation to detect any discrepancies Handling data entry tasks and ensuring all data is accurate Processing invoices, ensuring they are correctly entered and paid on time Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks Maintaining and updating the company's financial records and databases Resolving any issues or inquiries related to accounts payable Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and procedures Collaborating with other team members to achieve overall company financial goals. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Check Runs Familiarity with Coding Invoices Demonstrated skills in Account Reconciliation Strong Data Entry skills Proficient in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with Oracle software Familiarity with QuickBooks Knowledge of SAP Knowledge of the Gambling Industries Previous experience in a similar role is preferred Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to meet strict deadlines High level of integrity and professionalism Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
