Pomeroy is in need of several Customer Service Desk Associates (Call Center Support) for a 6-month renewal contract to hire in Louisville KY. This is an entry level position. Customer Service Desk Associates (Call Center Support) will be responsible for providing technical support for hardware, software, printer, POS, and network connectivity issues. The position’s focus is on technical phone and chat support for our client’s employees. Our client’s Service Desk is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates that are willing to work a flexible work schedule. Training will run for 5 weeks, 8-5pm.

3 Different shift options; 1st shift is 9am, 2nd shift is mid-shift, and 3rd shift is 7:30pm - 4am

After 6 months you will receive PTO, 40 hours (after 60 days fulfilled on contract) and up to 80 hours vacation time after 6 months (40 paid, 40 unpaid), 16 hours mental health days, paid birthday off all while on contract.

Contractors must work onsite for the first 5 weeks, then once trained you will move to 100% remote from home.

DAY to DAY Responsibilities:

- Resolve incoming client calls

- Focus on the delivery of excellent customer service.

- Consistently utilize troubleshooting skills and tools for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

- Assess initial impact on incident record; sets record priority level as well as escalates in a timely manner.

- Promptly notify Incident Team of priority issues after collecting required information for escalation.

- Follow Incident Record Documentation Standards utilizing company ticketing system (ServiceNow)

- Have positive attitude and be willing to learn level 1 help desk.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Some College preferred or equivalent experience

1+ years’ experience in a Service Desk environment

1+ years’ experience Customer Service

Effective telephone & communication skills

Knowledge of standard PC hardware/software/operating systems

Effective listening skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced & high-volume environment

$18-20 an hour (rate commensurate of experience)
