Martin’s Peterbilt, a 3rd generation family-owned and operated Peterbilt truck shop, is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Lexington, KY.
If you have at least 5 years of diesel mechanic experience and a valid driver’s license, Martin’s Peterbilt wants to hear from you! CAT, Cummins, and/or PACCAR certifications are a big plus. Having a CDL license is a plus.

Competitive compensation: Flat rate which will earn you between $26 - $42/hr, based upon your experience, jobs, and hours worked. Many skilled technicians are earning up to $85,000 or more based on their experience and hours worked!
Plus, monthly performance bonuses based on individual and group performance!
Daytime schedule: Primary hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. You will also work every other Saturday for a 4-hour shift.
Advanced tooling: Martin’s Peterbilt has a shop full of the most advanced tooling resources, which will allow you to do your mechanical work while taking it easier on your body.
Essential duties/responsibilities:
Overhaul and repair heavy duty engines including Caterpillar, Cummins, and Paccar engines.
Repair clutches, transmissions, differentials, power systems, cooling systems, steering systems, and hydraulic systems.
Install engines, transmissions, and other components.
Interact with customers in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
Provide instructions and guidance to helpers and apprentices as required.
Maintain good customer relations and performance standards.
Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles.
Ensure cleanliness and safety of the shop area.
Pass required drug screening.
